Statement of Faith

We accept the Bible, in its entirety, as the written Word of God. Being given by God, the Scriptures are both spiritually and verbally inspired by God. There is one God: infinite, eternal, almighty and perfect in holiness, life, light and love. In the unity of the Godhead there are three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This truth is the foundation of Christian faith and life.
God the Father is the Creator of Heaven and Earth. By his word and for his glory, he freely and supernaturally created this present world when He said "Let their be light." He made man in His own image, to fellowship with Him and have dominion over His Earth and everything upon it, over it and in the seas.
Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, is the eternal Word made flesh, supernaturally conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He is the only Savior of the world, having shed his blood and died on Calvary's cross to "take away the sins of the world." By his death, he revealed divine love and upheld divine justice, removed our guilt and reconciled us to God. Having redeemed us from death, the third day he rose bodily from the grave by the glory of the Father, victorious over death and the powers of darkness.
The Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life, convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. Through His anointing, He teaches and perfects redeemed believers to live in the reality of eternal life in the here and now.
Man?s response to Holy Spirit is rooted and grounded in their sovereign election of God's saving grace for God?s own pleasure and glory.  Salvation is provided by grace alone, through faith alone, because of Christ alone, for the glory of God alone. Anyone turning from sin in repentance and looking to Christ and his atoning Blood receives the gift of eternal life and is declared righteous by God as a free gift.  The believer is forgiven the debt of his sin and liberated from the law of sin and death and translated into the freedom of God's Kingdom by his Spirit.
God, by his Word and Spirit, called men out of the whole human race into the fellowship of Christ's Body as His "Ekklesia" sons or Legislative Assembly on Earth. By the same Word and Spirit, he guides, teaches and equips His sons in His Word that they 1) may make His Word work within their earthly spheres of influence; 2) faithfully express the Kingdom of God on the Earth through intercession; and 3) to extend the Kingdom of God through the Great Commission to the uttermost parts of the Earth.
In the fellowship of redeemed believers, God's people receive the nurture of the Word, equipping and the opportunity to employ their God-given destiny in his service in relation to one another and to the world. Water baptism is only intended for the individual who has received the saving benefits of Christ?s atoning work and become his disciple. Therefore, in obedience to Christ's command and as a testimony to God, the Church, and the world, a believer should be immersed in water in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Water baptism is a visual demonstration of a person's obedient union with Christ in the likeness of his death and resurrection.
