Initially, a fellowship of Native Crow and non-Native believers met together at Yellowtail, MT under the ministry banner of Day Chief Ministries, Inc. for seven years. In March of 2004, the nuclear group of this fellowship agreed to be the board of a new work called the Red Earth Church in the Wilderness. The heart call of this ministry is the immersion of the believer into the Spirit of the Kingdom of God to shift the believer's reality from following Christ to the higher position of a being a believing disciple filled with the Spirit of Christ. As believers filled with the life of Jesus, they can now more effectively walk, talk and carry out the divine directives of Christ and do the works He said they could do (John 14:12).
The Red Earth Church in the Wilderness is located one mile outside of the small community of Yellowtail, MT in the heart of the Apsaalooke Nation (Crow) where the Bighorn Rivers flows out from the Yellowtail Dam. The Bighorn District is appropriately known, culturally, as the "Valley of the Give Away." The primary functions of the Red Earth Church are: 1) the revelation of the functions, purposes and beauty of Kingdom of God; 2) intercession where, as Holy Spirit directs, intercession is released into any of the many spheres and dimensions of the Nation; and 3) the Eternal Alignment of the Foundational relationship, structure and reality of first apostles, secondarily prophets, then evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip and perfect the "ekklesia" saint-sons of God for the work of the ministry of edifying the whole Body of Christ.
For now, the Red Earth Church meets in the home of Jim and Faith Chosa on land that has been dedicated and set apart for the purposes of the Kingdom of God. At some future point in time, the Red Earth Church will build a Center of Higher Learning whereby the spiritual functions of high level intercession, spiritual mapping, land cleansing, individual and territorial dominion, and transformation will be taught, demonstrated and made available to the Body of Christ from all corners of America.
The Red Earth Church's primary, local out reach is the government and business spheres of Apsaalooke culture. In relationship to this out reach, we have established spiritual relationships with mature members of the prayer movement within the Nation and carry out specific, Holy Spirit directed Initiatives within the 1851 Treaty boundaries of the Nation.
This spring (2010) we will be executing the A3 "Asht'aale Prayer Initiative" to set the boundaries of the 1851 Apsaalooke nation free of demonic rule and close the spiritual boundaries to the free flow of the gods of other nations. To accomplish this, we have sought for and received the permission and delegated authority of the 107 Advisory Council of Elders and have worked, alongside of others, with the US Congress to develop and pass legislation called the Apology to Native Peoples of the United States, which is Section 8106 of the HR 3326 Defense Appropriations Act of 2009.
We invite your prayer and financial support for this vital initiative that will impact the whole of the North America continent.
We also invite you to attend our fellowship gatherings every Sunday morning beginning at 11:00 AM MST.
